What is a pre-marketing survey?
Since the Home Condition Report is now an optional extra with HIPS, many people have decided to have a pre-market survey instead. The pre-market survey is an in-depth survey that costs a fraction of the price, when compared to the Home condition report. It makes the selling process more transparent and decreases the likelihood of deals falling through.
WWhat are the benefits of a pre-marketing survey?
The pre-market survey highlights any problems with the property. This gives sellers the option to have work carried out to repair problems before the property is marketed. The pre-market survey can also be made available to prospective buyers and solicitors, so they know more about the condition of the property. This ensures transparency for the buyer, which means they can enter into deals with their eyes open, which makes the sale less likely to collapse at an advanced stage.
Who does the pre-market survey?
1st For Hips use fully qualified and accredited Home Inspectors to carry out our pre-marketing surveys.
